Back on Track

I finally gave in and joined the lemmings...sometimes I suppose the lemmings have some pretty cool stuff. After dropping my MotoQ phone on the ice and never locating it, I took some of my income tax refund and invested in a Blackberry Pearl. I must admit, I've had it less than 24 hours, well maybe not anymore, but I find it incredibly easy to use and intuitive. I really don't feel like I'm going to cutting my teeth on it for long. Maybe my familiarity with PDAs in general is better after learning the ins and outs of the Q, who knows. I chose it because the Q was going out of stock and I figure I'm pretty safe that RIM isn't going anywhere, any time soon at least.

I did have to give up my first born, (I can use that cause I don't have one to offend ;) ) after holster and warranty and lovely taxes, it was quite a hefty sum. Hopefully I can keep this one for a while - no falling on the ice in a dark parking lot! Or if I do, protect the phone, my body can heal...

I am hoping that this little acquisition will be kinda like having a second computer. I really don't get much time on ours, my hubby likes playing on it far too much, and lately our free time seems to be the same time so I would rather hang out while he plays or read a book. That will all change when the weather turns and the neighbours come out of hibernation, but then neither one of us will want to be inside. Hopefully I can stay connected with mobile facebook, email and blogging - if all goes as they promised me!
